The Yamaha YDP-S36 Arius Digital Piano combines authentic piano sound, expressive weighted keys and a slim, modern design that fits beautifully into any home. Ideal for beginners and returning players, it delivers a rewarding playing experience with the sound and feel of an acoustic piano.
The 88-key Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard provides a natural touch, with heavier resistance in the bass and a lighter feel in the treble. Yamaha’s CFX concert grand piano voice captures rich, expressive tone, while Virtual Resonance Modeling Lite (VRM Lite) simulates the complex resonance of piano strings for a more realistic sound.
Three pedals, including a damper pedal with half-pedaling support, provide greater control over expression. Built-in speakers deliver clear, balanced sound, while headphone connectivity allows for quiet practice. Bluetooth connectivity and the Smart Pianist app add convenient control options and access to the piano’s built-in learning features.
With 10 instrument voices, 353 preset songs, recording functions and a built-in metronome, the YDP-S36 offers plenty of ways to practise, learn and explore music. Its slim cabinet and folding keyboard cover help it blend neatly into living rooms, apartments and other home spaces.
