Firstly, the C214 offers a supreme, one-inch capsule on an integrated suspension.
Which works to reduce mechanical noise, just as the C414 does. On top of that, a switchable 20dB attenuation pad allows you to record loud sound sources up to 156dB SPL.
While a switchable bass-cut filter on the C214 allows for close up recording with almost no proximity effect.
Combining one capsule from the renowned C414 dual-capsule-system, with the patented AKG Back-Plate technology.
As a result, the AKG C214 delivers outstanding performance, as close as you can get to the famous C414.
